Our Private Sessions offer a personalized, one-on-one Pilates equipment experience tailored specifically to your body, goals, and individual movement needs. Whether you are brand new to Pilates, recovering from an injury, looking to deepen your technical understanding, or wanting a more athletic and customized challenge, private training allows for focused attention and intentional progression.

These sessions are designed to help clients build a deeper connection to their bodies while improving strength, mobility, alignment, stability, posture, and overall movement quality. With individualized cueing and customized programming, clients are able to move at a pace that feels supportive, effective, and specific to their needs.

Private Sessions are an excellent option for clients seeking a more personalized experience, additional support outside of group classes, or a deeper exploration of the Pilates method and equipment.

FAQ
I've never done Pilates before. Where should I start?

Private Sessions are a wonderful place to start if you'd like personalized, one-on-one attention from your very first session. No previous Pilates experience is necessary, and your instructor will tailor the pace and exercises specifically to you. If you'd prefer a group setting instead, Intro to Pilates on the Reformer is also a great starting point.

I have old injuries or chronic pain. Can I still do Pilates?

Yes. Private Sessions are especially well suited for clients recovering from an injury or managing chronic pain, since your instructor can tailor cueing, exercises, and pacing specifically to your body and any movement limitations. Let us know about any specific concerns when booking so your instructor can plan accordingly.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are required for all sessions, for both safety and hygiene.

How early should I arrive?

If you're dropping in for a private session, please arrive about 10 minutes early so you have time to settle in before your session begins.

Do you use equipment other than the Reformer?

Yes. Alongside the Reformer, private sessions may also incorporate the Stability Chair and Cadillac, giving your instructor more options to design a session tailored specifically to your goals and individual movement needs.
